Champion Swivel Plastex Heavy Duty Casters

Named after a caster introduced in the 1950's, Hamilton's Champion Casters are recognized for their superior performance, wide selection, and reliable service. As with all Hamilton Forged Steel Casters, the Champion's 1" integrally forged steel kingpin is guaranteed for life.

Features:
• Swivel Construction: 1/2" thick drop forged steel mounting plate; 3/8" x 3" plate steel legs welded inside and outside to forged steel horn base.
• Kingpin - 1" dia. integrally forged with mounting plate and threaded for adjustable slotted nut and cotter pin.
• Main Load Bearing - CNC-machined 3 3/4" diameter raceway; hardened and polished steel balls.
• Axle - 3/4" dia. hex head with lock nut.
• Lubrication Fittings - ball-check type in swivel assembly and wheel hub.

Plastex wheels provide easy rolling and good capacity at modest cost.

Cush-N-Flex Cushion Swivel Casters

Cush-N-Flex Casters feature extra soft solid rubber Super-Flex wheels. They resemble pneumatics in appearance, but being puncture proof eliminates any risk of "flats", perfect for use over very rough surfaces like steel grating and door sills. Extra-thick rubber tires are permanently vulcanized to cast aluminum hubs fitted with straight roller bearings to withstand rigorous industrial service.

Once formed, the raceways are CNC-machined and then induction hardened to ensure a uniform depth in hardness of the swivel raceway. A sealing cap is welded to the outer race to assure protection from foreign material and to keep grease in the raceway. Cpacities up to 3000 lbs.

All Endurance Series casters are finished in bright zinc plating and come standard with a choice of eight different wheel types. Standard bearing selections include double sealed precision ball bearings, precision tapered bearings, or straight roller bearings.
